Detailed tour itinerary

Our guide will meet you at the airport upon your arrival in Ulaanbaatar city/capital of Mongolia/ and take you to the hotel you stay in. Free at leisure for the rest of the day. Prepare yourself; on the most of days of this tour, we'll spend several hours on the road. Note: the camera with a full battery, torch, and other stuff/suitable clothing for horse/camel riding/.

City tour including Gandan Monastery, Bogd khans palace museum, Zaisan memorial hill. Dinner at a local cuisine restaurant accompanied by a Mongolian Tumen Ekh show.

Early in the morning, we will drive to Bogd Khan tourist camp. You will spend two nights there. Immersion in the daily life of a nomadic family of camel and horse herders, Tasting the traditional airag  (fermented mare's milk).

 After breakfast at the tourist camp, we will drive to Kharkhorin (80km - 2h drive), which was the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire between the 13th and 14th centuries:  Erdene Zuu Monastery: built with stones from the ruins of the imperial city the Karakorum in 1586. Inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, it is the oldest Buddhist monastery in Mongolia.  Then visit the Kharkhorin museum and see the Great Mongol state period, Stone Age, Bronze Age, and Ancient state period halls.

        Overnight in Ger tourist camp.           Meals(B+L+D)

Early in the morning we will drive to Khustai national (270 km – 3.5 hours) and sees the Takhi, the Asian wild horse. Enjoy small hiking and photographing the charming landscape and wildlife. Visit Takhi's small museum.

        Overnight in Khustai tourist camp. (B+L+D)

After breakfast, drive back from the camp to Ulaanbaatar. Ulaanbaatar city tour and places where you will be taken to souvenir and cashmere shops before enjoying an evening concert of National Folklore.

     Overnight in a hotel. (B+L+D)

You will be transferred from your hotel to the airport. (B)
