What is Mongolia?

Country of 2228 years history

Nomadic of Blue Sky invites you to luxury travel in the homeland of the Genghis Khan, whom UNESCO has titled "Man of the millennium". Mongolia is land of nomads and located in central Asia, land locked between Russia and China.. Not only does Mongolia offer to the Western World unique culture  and tradition, it also contains immense natural beauty that has gone untouched for centuries by the  modern world.  The ubiquity of diverse flora and fauna in the Mongolian countryside is astonishing. You can see nomadic life style, stunning landscapes and rare plants, animals, and birds wich cannot be seen anywhere else in the world.  It is impossible to count  all the stars  in the clear blue sky, untouched by light or industrial pollution. The unspoiled  landscape offers the opportunity to experience natural beauty unlike anywhere in the world. Also Mongolia is the world's the best country forthe discovery of ancient dinosaur species.

Beyond the natural beauty of Mongolia lies  a rich  history and culture. In 1206, Genghis Khan united the nomadic Mongolian tribes and founded Great Mongolian empire. Mongolians conquered the half of the world in XIII-XIV century. Today Mongolia is one of the few nations  that represent the diminishing nomadic civilization with its specific wayof life  and traits. Waves of nomadic  migrations and the formation of steppe empires on the Mongolia plains left their mark on the nation;s history. compared to sedentary civilizations, nomadic people live in harmony with nature and preserve its natural beauty. Besides its nomadic culture, Mongolia has successfully developed modern culture  as well. Otherwise you can see two kind of culture in one visit.
